Position Title: Webhosting Support Engineer
Position Location: Remote 100% (WFH / Work from anywhere / 40 hours a week required)

Pay Range / Details / Bonus: Base of $ 1,500.00 - $1,900.00 USD Monthly
WPMU DEV is looking for a Hosting Support - (Web Support Specialist ) to provide enterprise-level assistance to our customers. You will diagnose and troubleshoot hosting problems and help our customers install applications, WordPress plugins and WordPress themes.
To be qualified for this role, you should have a proven experience as hosting support or a technical support . If you’re naturally a helper, enjoy assisting people with hosting issues and are able to explain technical details simply, we’d like to meet you. You’ll be self-motivated, a real go-getter, a coding connoisseur.
Ultimately, you will be a person our customers trust. They will rely on you to provide timely and accurate solutions to their technical problems.
As our new Hosting Support staff, it will be your job to assist our customers with
any issues that they might have with our hosting environments.

Job Description
- Manage and resolve incoming support requests through our ticketing system
- Answer support client calls, emails, or online chat regarding website troubleshooting, site updates, plugin updates, server or hosting issues, email creation and troubleshooting, etc.
- Assist with identifying the root cause of problems; manages and resolves issues in a constantly changing environment
- Maintain a high level of professionalism with clients and work to establish a positive rapport
- Log billable time and send invoices for support requests promptly
- Set up development environments and launch websites
- Assist our internal team with technical and training support
- Be available to provide after-hours and weekend coverage as needed
QUALIFICATIONS
- Must have mastered WordPress, including thorough knowledge of themes and plugins
- Understanding of PHP
- Good understanding of MySQL
- Know your way around Linux (Ubuntu)
- Awesome with Bash
- Talented with NGINX
- Great interpersonal skills.
